About This Work
This beautiful beast was the result of a commission for the Tiger Mall shopping center. To research such a reclusive animal, I was restricted to zoos and books. I found a particular zoo that allowed me to spend some time in close proximity without crowds of other people (still behind a strong fence) so that I could observe their anatomy and movements. The tiger's stealth, alertness and quickness was astounding!
