A Gentleman's Game - $900
Edition of 30 • 14" x 7" x 7"
About This Work
What other game than golf can represent the epitome of sportsmanship? Unlike other professional sports, the golfer pays his own expenses to the tournament, buys his own clothes and clubs, and if he doesn’t perform… well, he gets nothing! If he accidentally grounds his club in a sand trap or inadvertently double hits a shot, he actually calls the penalty on himself!
The golfer shows dignity in defeat and graciousness in victory. I hope it always stays that way because it is still truly a gentleman’s game (and ditto for the women).
